  1. How can it be so reliable?

    1. It is the inspired Word of God, not mere opinions or memories

  2. How can we keep from being deceived away from it by "false prophets"?

    1. They teach "opinions" and make them equal to Scripture

    2. Their teachings deny the work of Christ (to some extent)

    3. Their teachings deny portions of the Law or the Gospel (or both)

    4. They teach for their own benefit instead of the glory of God
